    • Brown Mackie College offers associate and bachelor's degree programs in accounting, business, early childhood education, health care, legal studies, computers and technology and veterinary services. Enrollment at the Louisville campus is about 700 students. Students at Brown Mackie take only one course per month so even working adults can find time to pursue a degree. Students must complete an externship in their chosen career field. That will give students experience and allow them to network for future job opportunities.     Jefferson Community and Technical College

    • Jefferson Community and Technical College is the largest of 16 colleges that form the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. It was created when Jefferson Community College and Jefferson Technical College merged in 2005. The college offers associate degree programs in areas such as aviation maintenance, criminal justice, culinary arts, fire and rescue technology, Kentucky medication aide and respiratory care. Classes are held during the daytime, evenings and online. The college is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

    Sullivan College of Technology and Design

    • Sullivan College of Technology and Design offers associate degree and career program diplomas in fields such as computer network security, computer graphic design, interior design, drafting, mechanical engineering and heating, ventilation and air conditioning. The college was founded by Kentucky engineer George Dumbaugh in 1961. Sullivan offers assistance to students in finding grants and scholarships, housing and employment.
