Only students in the final semester of law study may apply for the certificate program in intellectual property law program offered through the Chicago-Kent College of Law. The college, part of Illinois Institute of Technology, requires students complete 20-credit hours in coursework pertaining to intellectual property law in courses such as Patent Law and Copyright Law.
