The University of Southern California Annenberg School of Journalism offers undergraduate students Bachelor of Art in Print and Digital Journalism and Bachelor of Art in Broadcast and Digital Journalism degrees. Its master's program offers degrees in specialized journalism, print, broadcast and online journalism. There is also a doctoral program in communication. The University of California Graduate School of Journalism at Berkeley wants worldly students with undergraduate grade-point averages above 3.0 to join their program. Former students have gone on to work for "The New York Times," "The Los Angeles Times" and the Associated Press. Admission to the program doesn't require a graduate record examination but does consider significant life experiences. Applicants should submit three samples of journalistic work.
