Diploma and certificate programs offered on campus include a law enforcement academic certificate program, a law enforcement skills certificate program, a paralegal certificate program and a practical nursing diploma program. The college offers associate’s degree programs online and on campus in medical administration, medical transcription, pharmacy technician, accounting, business administration, child development, early childhood education, corrections, crime scene evidence, homeland security, psychology, paralegal, web design and web programming. Some Rasumussen College associate's degrees cannot be earned online and may be completed through on-campus study only. These include exercise science, massage therapy, medical assisting, surgical technician, medical technician and nursing.     Community Technical and Adult Education Center

    • Students receiving a certificate in radiologic technologist from CTAE are eligible to take licensing exams in Florida to become certified radiologic technologists.

      Community Technical and Adult Education Center (CTAE) is a postsecondary vocational school offering GED and adult high school courses, free classes in English as a second language, continuing education classes, and diploma and certificate programs. Applied technology diploma programs are offered in medical coding and billing, medical transcription, and medical lab technician. Upon successful completion of an applied technology diploma program, students are eligible to have vocational credits earned in the program converted to college credit upon transfer to an associate’s of science degree program at any Florida community college which offers an associate’s of science degree in one of the programs of study.

      Students earning a diploma in medical lab technician or a certificate of completion in medical assisting, cosmetology, electrical apprenticeship, radiologic technologist, patient care assistant or patient care technician are eligible to sit for licensing examinations. Other certificate programs offered by CTAE include certificate programs in administrative assistant, certified nursing assistant, firefighting, welding, nail technician, facial specialist, commercial food and culinary arts, emergency medical technician (EMT), massage therapy, phlebotomy and veterinary assisting. Enrichment classes offered by CTAE include classes in photography, pottery, basket weaving, sculpture, yoga and dance. Financial aid for qualified students includes scholarships and grants.
