Graphic Design Colleges in Virginia

The Virginia Employment Commission predicts that the demand for graphic designers in the state will increase by more than 21 percent from 2004 through 2014. To become a graphic designer, you typically need a bachelor's degree. A small number of private and public colleges in Virginia offer such programs in locations throughout the state.
  1. Virginia Commonwealth University

    • Located in the state capital of Richmond, Virginia Commonwealth University is a public institution with more than 32,000 undergraduate and graduate students. You must have a laptop computer. Approximately 69 percent of freshmen and 65 percent of continuing students receive some type of financial aid while studying at Virginia Commonwealth, according to the "2009 Barron's Profiles of American Colleges."
