Located in the town of New Albany on a 177-acre campus, Indiana University Southeast is known throughout the state for its bachelor's degree programs. Along with business management and nursing courses, Indiana University Southeast also offers a graphic design program. Students have access to 24 state-of-the-art Macintosh computers outfitted with the latest in Web design software. Students can also use the facility's flat-bed scanning devices to print out both large and small prints of their graphic design illustrations. Indiana University Southeast's graphic design program includes special topics in digital media, Web design techniques and fundamentals of graphic design and illustration.

Originally founded as Indiana Central University in 1905, the University of Indianapolis offers a bachelor of fine arts degree in Graphic Design/Visual Communication Design. Coursework includes: introduction to computers for artists, fundamentals of three-dimensional design, visual communication design, graphic production, history of graphic design and computer utilization for graphic design. Federally-funded financial assistance is available for qualified students.

First opened to the public in 1801 and originally known as Jefferson Academy, Vincennes University is the oldest college in the state of Indiana. Vincennes University offers an intensive graphic design course, focusing on practical design skills along with graphic design in a classroom setting. Students emerge from the program with a grounding in both the technical and creative skills needed for a career in graphic design.
