    • Originally founded as Indiana Central University in 1905, the University of Indianapolis offers a bachelor of fine arts degree in Graphic Design/Visual Communication Design. Coursework includes: introduction to computers for artists, fundamentals of three-dimensional design, visual communication design, graphic production, history of graphic design and computer utilization for graphic design.     • First opened to the public in 1801 and originally known as Jefferson Academy, Vincennes University is the oldest college in the state of Indiana.
