The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services predicts that the demand for graphic designers in the state will increase by more than 4 percent from 2006 through 2016. A number of colleges in Ohio offer associate and bachelor's degrees programs in graphic design. These programs prepare students for entry into the field through studio courses, which also allow a prospective graphic designer to build a professional resume that can help him obtain employment after graduation.
