Western Oklahoma State College, formerly Altus Junior College, is the oldest two-year public college in Oklahoma. It's in Altus, about four hours from the Texas border. Students can obtain Associate in Arts, Associate in Science and Associate in Applied Science degrees. The college also provides certificate programs, such as medical office assistant and medical coding. Some degree programs are available online, such as general office assistant. Degree programs include radiologic technology, arts and business administration. Sports at the school include baseball, basketball, football and golf.

Northern Oklahoma offers three campuses--Tonkawa, Enid and Stillwater--that provide Associate in Science, Associate in Arts and Associate in Applied Science degrees.
