Art Colleges in Louisiana

The Louisiana Workforce Commission estimates that the demand for multimedia artists and other professionals in arts-related fields in the state will increase by as much as 2 percent per year through 2016. Because competition in the arts is often great, students who hope for careers as professional artists often pursue post-secondary education to improve their skills and build portfolios. Louisiana is home to a number of private and public colleges that offer undergraduate- and graduate-level degrees in art.
