Bramson ORT College is located in Queens and Brooklyn, two of the boroughs of New York City. Originally founded to provide higher education to immigrants and refugees in 1942 during World War II, Bramson ORT College evolved into a technical postsecondary college in 1977. You can gain an associate degree, diploma or certificate. The distance learning program offers a degree in business management. Classes available online include communications skills, principles of accounting, business law and fundamentals of purchasing. In addition, you can take courses from the continuing education division online, such as Italian. Empire State College Center for Distance Learning offers associate and bachelor's degree programs. This college provides more than 400 online classes. Distance learning programs include business, management, economics, educational studies and cultural studies. The college has collaborated with the military and various organizations, such as UAW-Ford and Verizon, to provide educational opportunities.
