    • Stevenson University is in Stevenson, Maryland, about 40 miles from Westminster, and has a second campus in Owings Mills, near Baltimore. The University began as a two-year institution and became a four-year college in 1984. The school's name changed from Villa Julie College to Stevenson University in 2008. With a student population of more than 3,100, the university offers undergraduate, accelerated undergraduate and graduate degree programs in dozens of academic disciplines. Its six schools include the Brown School of Business and Leadership, schools of design, education, sciences, humanities and social sciences, and school of graduate and professional studies. Bachelor's degree programs are offered in the areas of English, accounting, biology, history, legal studies, management, marketing and 12 other disciplines.
