Hoboken, New Jersey is located across Hudson River from Manhattan. Founded in 1783, visitors originally thought of the city as a resort location.     • This community college is located about two miles from Hoboken in Jersey City. The community college became what it is today in 1981. The Middle States Association has given the college unrestricted accreditation. Academic programs at the community college include culinary arts, health science, humanities and social sciences and developmental education. Certificates and associates degrees are both offered at the college. Associate degrees that are offered include culinary arts, American studies, Latino studies, management and health science.
