Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business offers undergraduate and graduate programs in the field of business. The Beyond Grey Pinstripes Global 100, which is a survey completed every two years by the Aspen Institute that serves as an alternative ranking for business schools, ranks Zicklin School of Business No. 65 globally. Accountancy, computer information systems, economics, finance, international business, management, marketing management, statistics and quantitative modeling and real estate comprise the undergraduate program offerings. The graduate programs include an MBA program, post-master's certificate program and a doctoral program. Admission is selective for all programs, and the school business programs hold accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

As of 2010, the School of Business and Information Systems at York College was working on obtaining full accreditation status for its business programs. The school combines undergraduate majors from two departments--the Department of Accounting and Finance and the Department of Business and Economics. Its undergraduate programs include accountancy, aviation management, business administration, economics and marketing. The school offers a certificate in mortgage finance and minors in economics, computer applications in business and mortgage finance.

Five departments make up the Medgar Evers College of Business: Accounting, Economics and Finance, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems and Public Administration. The school holds full accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. The undergraduate programs award associate and bachelor degrees in applied management, business, computer information systems, accounting and public administration. Business students obtain hands-on experience by completing internships and providing technical assistance to small businesses. The school maintains two centers: the DuBois Center for Public Research and the Center for Entrepreneurship.
