Minnesota features a mostly rural landscape with a high population concentration in the twin city area. Residents looking to attend a business college can find options near Minneapolis as well as a few smaller sites throughout the state. Students also have the option to attend a business college online, completing the work from home instead of the classroom.

    • The Minnesota School of Business at Globe University has 12 locations throughout Minnesota as well as online degree programs. Globe University offers master's, bachelor's and associate programs in accounting, business administration and business management.     Minneapolis Business College

    • Minneapolis Business College is located in the suburb of Roseville, 10 miles northwest of downtown Minneapolis. Students have their choice of an associate degree in accounting, office administration, paralegal, legal office administration and hospitality. Minneapolis Business College was founded in 1874 and is Minnesota’s oldest accredited business school. The school features small class sizes, a professional work-like atmosphere, hands-on learning and financial aid and job-placement services for all graduates.

    Brown College

    • Brown College located within Mendota Heights is less than 10 miles from downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis. It offers a bachelor's degree in business management with a general area of study including marketing, human resources and organizational management. Brown College offers an accelerated program where students can finish the bachelor's degree in 36 months by going to school year-round. Other degree programs include radio broadcasting, medical assisting and visual communications. Students have access to career services, financial aid and tuition assistance.

    Rasmussen College

    • Rasmussen College offers eight Minnesota locations throughout the state, with a few locations near the twin cities. They offer online programs in addition to their on-site facilities letting the student choose to complete their program on campus, online or a combination of both. Rasmussen School of Business features associate and bachelor's degrees in business management, accounting and health care management. Their bachelor's in business management lets students choose a concentration area including information technology, human resources, Internet marketing and business administration. Rasmussen College offers financial aid, a tuition payment program and employment services during and after completion of the program.
