Lane College is a church-related, private educational facility which offers two undergraduate degrees. The bachelor of arts degree covers majors such as French, history, English, criminal justice, religion, sociology, music, interdisciplinary studies and mass communication. You may earn a technical certificate of credit toward career advancement. The College/University Transfer Program enables students to transfer credits to a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor degree.
The Tennessee Technical Center at Jackson offers full-time programs, online programs, adult education, industry training and night classes. Full-time programs offer certificates and diplomas in general building trades, computer information systems, industrial electricity, precision metals, tool and die, machine tool technology, business systems technology, drafting/CAD, pharmacy technician, industrial maintenance technology, surgical technology, A/C and refrigeration, practical nursing, welding, electronics and automotive technology.
West Tennessee Business College offers up to four years of general studies, or you may focus on business, criminal justice, culinary and hospitality, creative arts and design, education, fashion and interior design, legal, health care and human services technology, nursing and medical assistance, engineering and technical trades. This college provides up to $50,000 annually in scholarships to qualifying students.
