More than 56 majors are offered, including several online degrees. Troy University prides itself on not just teaching academics, but also preparing students for life and getting to know students on a personal level. Troy University offers campus classes, online classes or a combination of both. Bethel University claims that one of its strengths is understanding that adult students juggling family, work and school. At Bethel University, you can work toward a Bachelor of Science degree, Master of Business Administration Degree or Master in Arts in Education through online coursework.
Miller-Motte Technical College was founded in 1916 with campuses in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Clarksville. Miller-Motte is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. Both campus-based and online courses are available. Courses of study from Certificates to Bachelor of Science degrees are available through this independent college. The director of career services at Miller-Motte works with each student to assist with career options and employment placement.
Clarksville's North Tennessee Bible Institute and Seminary was founded in 1970 as an opportunity for ministers, teachers and missionaries to have a place to study and prepare themselves for a lifetime of Christian service. The nonprofit college offers associate degrees, bachelor's degrees and master's and doctoral degrees. Students of the North Tennessee Bible Institute can become licensed and ordained ministers.
The North Central Institute of Clarksville offers an Associate of Applied Science degree in aviation technology. This hands-on program focuses on aviation knowledge of flight, maintenance, operations and air traffic control. This two-year program will ready an aviation student for a career in the ever growing aviation/aerospace industry.
