Located about 10 miles from Wildwood, Atlantic Cape Community College is a two-year institution with over 6,000 students spread across three campuses. Atlantic Cape promotes diversity and access and offers more than 40 degree program options. It also offers a number of noncredit courses and programs, many of which are also taught online. The college has partnered with Farleigh Dickinson University and Rutgers University to give students the ability to earn an undergraduate and graduate degree on one of Atlantic Cape's campuses.

Monmouth University, the closest university to Wildwood, New Jersey, is a 156-acre liberal arts college that offers 33 undergraduate degree and 21 graduate degree options.
