Essex County College offers associate's degrees in more than 80 fields. The college boasts that it sends more transfer students to popular Rutgers University than any other two-year college in New Jersey. Admission is non-competitive and enrollment is about 25,000 annually as of winter, 2011, including students not seeking degrees.
