Respiratory Therapist Colleges in New Jersey

Respiratory therapists, often called respiratory care practitioners or respiratory technicians, work in hospitals and medical offices to provide respiratory treatments for patients who have breathing conditions that affect their lungs and heart. In New Jersey, respiratory jobs require an associate degree. Before enrolling in a respiratory therapist program at a community college or university, students should make sure the degree program has accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care.
