    Wake Tech Community College

    • Wake Tech Community College prepares students to design, service, maintain and repair HVAC systems in residential and light commercial settings. They offer degree, diploma and certificate programs in AHR. Wake Tech is certified by the North American Technical Excellence, Inc. (NATE), which is the leading certification program for HVAC technicians. NATE training is part of the degree program at Wake Tech and testing is offered to registered students to help prepare them for certification.

    • Situated in Asheville, Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College offers degree, certificate and diploma programs in AHR. Degree and diploma courses are offered in the evenings to accommodate students who work during the day. Certificate programs are offered day and evening.
