    • Established in 1965, Robeson Community College is a two-year community college situated in Lumberton, NC, approximately 30 miles from downtown Fayetteville. RCC offers 17 associate degree and continuing education programs in various fields of study including business administration, early childhood education, and industrial systems technology. Robeson gives students the choice of a course instruction in a traditional face-to-face lecture format or through distance learning in an online classroom. Activities available to eligible students include Phi Theta Kappa and the National Technical Honor Society.     Sampson Community College

    • Sampson Community College, a member of the North Carolina Community College System, is located 22 miles outside of Fayetteville in Clinton, NC. It was recognized as an independent institution in the state college system in 1967. The college has an open-door policy and and offers more than 20 associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs. SCC gives students the option to choose from five different areas of study. Cosmetology, accounting, and welding technology are among some of the popular programs offered. Courses are taught in both face-to-face and distance learning formats. Students of all classifications are urged to participate in campus activities including the Student Government Association. Sampson CC has an abundance of services for students and helps guide them through their studies with free tutors, on-campus career opportunities, counseling, and a library.
