Aveda Institute's esthetics program prepares students for the New York State Esthiology Licensing Exam. The 600-hour technical curriculum builds on a foundation of anatomy and physiology instruction, with training in skin care, makeup application and waxing. Students also benefit from hands-on, clinical experience working with a range of skin conditions and disorders.
Aveda Institute's cosmetology program prepares students to take the New York Cosmetology Licensing Exam. The program's 1000 hours of study cover hands-on training in makeup application, hair design and skin and nail care.
