Iowa Cosmetology Schools

A successful cosmetologist not only has skill in cutting, coloring and styling hair, but also basic nail, makeup and skin techniques. In Iowa, there are multiple schools located across the state for those who wish to earn their cosmetology license. The Iowa Board of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences, under the Iowa Department of Public Health, reviews and grants cosmetology licenses to those residents who have successfully completed an approved program.
