How do I Cite Pictures in Chicago Style?

It is important to correctly cite sources so readers can easily locate the original source of a writer's information. Even pictures and other images must be cited. According to the rules laid out by the Chicago Manual of Style, the correct format for image citation depends upon whether the image was found in a book or on the Internet.
