New Hampshire LPN Programs

An LPN, or licensed practical nurse, works in a hospital, clinic, nursing home or private home caring for patients under the direction of a dentist, physician or registered nurse. The state of New Hampshire requires LPNs to graduate from an accredited educational institution and become licensed in the state prior to practicing in the state.
  1. New Hampshire Technical Institute

    • New Hampshire Technical Institute, or NHTI, is located in Concord, New Hampshire and offers students three nursing degrees to choose from. Students can get a nursing associates degree, a registered nursing degree or a licensed practical nursing degree. NHTI offers a one year full-time LPN program that begins in January of each calendar year. Once accepted into the LPN program, students have two years to complete all of the courses. Students must pass a background check, undergo drug and alcohol screening and have completed high school algebra, biology and English with a grade of "C' or better.

    Salter School of Nursing and Allied Health

    • The Salter School of Nursing and Allied Health is located in Manchester, New Hampshire and offers degrees in licensed practical nursing, licensed nursing assistant and phlebotomy. The LPN program is offered over a course of five terms and classes are offered both during the day and the evening. Students must have a high school diploma or GED, have completed high school algebra and a basic life support course and must submit a New Hampshire criminal record report.

    River Valley Community College

    • River Valley Community College is located in Claremont, New Hampshire and offers students a nursing assistant degree and a licensed practical nursing degree. The program starts in the spring semester and takes four semesters to complete, including the summer semester. Students must have a high school diploma and evidence of passing grades in high school math, English and a laboratory science. LPN students must already have received a nursing assistant degree prior to admission to the LPN program.
