Arlington is located halfway between Dallas and Fort Worth. You can reach either location within about 30 minutes and get to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in half that time. Arlington is a 3-hour drive from Austin and Houston. It is also only about 200 miles from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Shreveport, Louisiana.
Arlington Community College was founded in 1932 as Colton Baptist Junior College. It is a private school focusing on business and technology programs, including Business Administration, Accounting, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration and Commerce. Another option is to consider taking an online course from one of the Texas community colleges outside of Arlington.
