LSC-CyFair Community College was established in 2003 and was previously known as North Harris Montgomery Community College District. Educational opportunities at the community college include consumer science and merchandising, game design and simulation, office software applications and real estate sales. Buildings on campus include the Center for the Arts, Learning Commons, Technology Building and Health Science Center.
LSC-Kingwood Community College opened in 1984 and its main campus educates more than 7,000 students each year, as of 2011. Academic degrees and certificates include sports management, payroll, law, professional office technology and computer information technology. Buildings on campus include LSC-Kingwood Library, Student Fine Arts Building, Fitness and Training Center and Health Science Building.
Founded in 1995, LSC-Montgomery Community College sits on a 210-acre campus and features the Performing Arts Center, Music Hall, Extended Learning Center and General Academic Center. As of 2011, the community college enrolled over 12,000 students during the academic year. Academic programs include religion, physical therapy assistant, land surveyor, personal enrichment and audio visual systems specialist.
The LSC-North Harris Community College was founded in 1973 and has a 200-acre campus. The community college features more than 80 academic programs in diesel technology, drivers education, aviation management, digital publishing, human performance and sports management. Buildings on campus include the Energy Trading Center, Digital Technology Center, YMCA Child Care Center, Applied Technology Center, Health and Wellness Center, and Industrial Education Center.
Located on 143 acres, LSC-Tomball Community College was founded in 1985. Locations on campus include Beckendorf Conference Center, Large Animal Facility, Wellness Center, Tombell Community Library and Student Center. Academic programs include veterinary technology, personal safety, mathematics medication aide, floral design and food service management.
