George Fox University boasts of being Oregon's nationally recognized Christian university. Located in Oregon's Willamette Valley, the university lies 23 miles south of Portland Oregon. George Fox University offers a Project Management Adult Degree Program that culminates with the offering of a bachelor's degree. The program is structured to balance both practice and theory with the goal of teaching students how to plan, manage, and bring projects to a conclusion in a team-oriented manner.
The project management program is designed to meet the standards established by the Project Management Institute (PMI). PMI boasts of being the world's leading non-profit association for the project management profession.

The City University of Seattle offers students several avenues to earning a project management degree or certificate. City University sponsors a Master of Science in Project Management Degree, which can be earned through participating in a combination of both in-person and online classroom settings. The program teaches students to plan, schedule, budget and lead projects from start to completion. Students are taught to negotiate and communicate to satisfy client expectations and bring about a successful conclusion to each project.
City University also awards undergraduate and graduate certificates in project management. The undergraduate certificate is only offered online while the graduate certificate can be earned online and in the classroom.
Those interested in specializing in the management of architectural projects may wish to take advantage of a Portland-based program. Portland State University provides students with the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture with a concentration in Architectural Project Management. The university also offers a Project Management Certificate through completion of a Presentation Skills for Project managers course. The one-day program provides an overview of status meetings, executive overviews, kick-off meetings and other project management concepts.
Western Washington University, located in Bellingham, Oregon, offers a project-management crash course. While not a stand-alone degree program, the program does seek to provide students with a basic understanding of the key areas of project management.
