PASSHE schools offer degree programs in 20 disciplines. Among these disciplines are education, business, psychology, art, political science, social work, biology, criminal justice, health and physical education, accounting and computer science. Not every school offers degree programs in each of the 20 PASSHE disciplines. For instance, featured programs at Bloomsburg University are computer forensics, education of the deaf and hard of hearing, and audiology. Highlighted programs at East Stroudsburg University are early, elementary and middle school education, athletic training and business management. Bachelor's, master's and a single doctoral degree (in audiology) are available at PASSHE schools.
PASSHE colleges host a number of athletic programs. Among them are men's baseball, basketball, cross country indoor track and field, soccer, football, tennis and wrestling. The schools also have women's basketball, cross country, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis and volleyball. Four schools in the system are home to more than 10,000 students. These schools offer students myriad social opportunities, including clubs and societies. Shippensburg University hosts an annual Celebration of Student Research Conference that allows students to display and present research and findings to guests and potential future employers.
PASSHE offers online reference guides for potential students. A financial aid guide graphically displays the manner in which students apply for financial aid, which awards are available, how those awards will affect the cost of school and which agencies students should approach to apply for those awards. PASSHE also provides a "Get Started" checklist for high school students. This resource lists all the things high school juniors and seniors should or must do in order to prepare for, apply for and be accepted to one of the PASSHE universities.
