Oklahoma City Community College makes its students' success a priority. The college even requires all students to take a class entitled "Success in College and Life," which teaches them useful life skills like critical thinking, health and wellness strategies, diversity and global awareness. OCCC offers both a two-year associate degree programs and a one- and two-year certificate program that focuses on career training. Students can use their associate degree to transfer to a four-year college or university. There are over 60 programs available to students at OCCC, and the college has small class sizes, giving students more individualized attention.

Very flexible class times and online classes are designed to fit students' busy schedules, and the college also provides different term lengths, ranging from two weeks to16 weeks. In addition, an associate degree from Rose State College can be transferred directly to any four-year college or university in the Oklahoma State System for Higher Education. Redlands Community College is located in El Reno, Oklahoma, less than 40 minutes from Oklahoma City. On its website, the colleges states that after completing an associate degree program at Redlands, students should be able to easily get into four-year colleges like University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, and University of Central Okalahoma. In addition, Redlands offers the FastTrack program, by which students can receive an associate degree in only one year, while taking a mixture of lecture, online and lab classes. Redlands awards an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, and Associate of Applied Science as well as career certificate programs in a variety of disciplines.
Tulsa Community College is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, less than two hours from Oklahoma City. Overall, there are five campuses for students to choose from. TCC has been around since 1970 and prides itself on working with each student to make his own personalized college experience. TCC offers online classes, telecourses and distance learning. In addition, the school has programs that range from 1 week to 16 weeks. On its website, the college states: "Tulsa Community College programs are designed to prepare students for advanced studies or careers in their chosen fields of interest."
