Houston Junior Colleges

Junior (community) colleges are an increasingly popular place for high school graduates to earn college credits for transfer, get certified in real-world job training programs or earn associate's degrees. The Houston area is home to three community college systems, each with main and satellite campuses spread throughout the city and suburbs. If you're planning to transfer from a junior college to a four-year school, always work with a junior college's transfer office to make sure the classes you're taking are transfer-accepted at the other schools you're interested in.
