    • The College of Southern Nevada opened in 1971 and has about 43,000 students enrolled across several campuses. CSN offers associate's degrees in dental hygiene, automotive technology, electronic engineering, real estate and occupational therapy, among many other degrees. Students can earn certificates as nursing assistants, contact lens technicians and emergency medical technicians. The college offers financial aid along with academic scholarships to students.

    High-Tech Institute

    • High-Tech Institute is a nationwide chain of specialty colleges owned by the Anthem Education Group. The Las Vegas branch sits in the heart of Las Vegas, just south of the downtown area. The school offers two-year degrees in business management, massage therapy, computer science and paralegal studies, along with many other majors. High-Tech Institute requires students to take an entrance exam as part of their application process.
