How to Cite Something From the Press in APA

Cite an article or editorial piece from the press that you used in your research in APA format. "The press" refers to journalists who write for periodically published sources. Journalists typically research their articles well and as such are reliable sources for research reports or academic papers. Articles being cited from newspapers, magazines, or printed journals, whether paginated by issue or volume, follow the same APA format in the main reference list and in-text citations.
