Essentials of Basic College Mathematics

Successful completion of an associate or bachelor's degree is directly correlated with the level of secondary math completed in high school according to Dr. Linda Hagedorn of the University of Florida. Entrance to master's programs requires mastery of essentials of basic college mathematics. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) measures proficiency in number systems, algebra, geometry and data analysis.   1. Number Systems
