Log into your Moodle course account.
Click "Turn editing on" in the upper right-hand corner to enable the editing function. If this button reads, "Turn editing off," you already have the editing function enabled.
Find the first item in the lesson module you would like to update. Locate the list of icons to the right of each item in the lesson module. The "Update" icon looks like a paper and pencil.
Click on the "Update" icon and this will take you to a new page based on what kind of item you update. Continue to the next step for items you created in Moodle. Skip to the next section for items you uploaded to Moodle.
Make any necessary changes to the information on the page.
Click "Save and return to course" or "Save and display" to save the changes.
Make any necessary changes to the original document on your computer and save the file to an easily remembered location on your computer.
Find the item in the lesson module you wish to update.
Click the corresponding "Update" icon.
Click "Choose or upload a file."
Click "Upload a file" in the pop-up window and select "Browse."
Locate the updated document on your computer and click to highlight it.
Click "Open."
Click "Upload this file."
Locate the newly uploaded file on Moodle and click on "Choose" to the right of it.
Click "Save and return to course" or "Save and display" to save the newly uploaded file to the lesson module.
