North and South American students currently receiving monetary assistance can explore the Organization of American States (OAS) Scholarships and Training Programs. The organization's purpose is to increase enrollment in universities that have agreements with the OAS's Departments of Education and Culture. Students attending schools in the OAS conglomerate will also be eligible for assistance. Decisions are based on achievement and test scores, if required, and those awarded receive full tuition assistance, free health insurance and a stipend for book-purchasing and living expenses.
