Bright Horizons offers scholarships for teachers entering early childhood education. In an effort to attract more teachers to the field of early childhood education, they have different types of scholarships available. The first is an award of $1,500 for students entering their second year of an associate degree program. The second is in the amount of $2,500 for students entering their junior year of a bachelor's degree program. The third option is for $2,500 and is for students enrolled in a master's degree program. All students must be enrolled full time in an accredited degree program.

The Phi Delta Kappa (PDK) International Education Foundation awards scholarships for students interested in a teaching career. Students must first become a member of PDK to qualify for funding. Each year, PDK awards 15 $1,000 scholarships to prospective teachers and educators. Awards go to high school students who are planning to major in education or an undergraduate student who is studying education. PDK also offers additional scholarships for minority students and students with demonstrated financial need interested in becoming teachers.

StraightForward Media awards scholarships of $500 dollars every three months to students who are doing coursework to become teachers. This scholarship provides money that can be used toward tuition, living expenses and other teaching-related material. The application is open to students and teachers studying or already working in elementary, middle, high school or college education.
