To qualify, students must be seeking their doctoral degree in accounting business from an accredited university. The award amount is $10,000 per academic year.

The Thomson Reuters Doctoral Dissertation Proposal Scholarship is offered to a worthy doctoral candidate by the ASIS&T Information Science Education Committee. To qualify, students must be an current doctoral student in the information science area, have completed all of their coursework and have an accepted dissertation proposal. The student must also attend the annual ASIS&T meeting. The award amount is $1,500. An additional $500 is provided for transportation expenses.

The Doctoral Degree Scholarship in Cancer Nursing is offered by the American Cancer Society to a graduate nursing student. Students must be studying cancer nursing specifically with the intention of becoming a cancer nurse upon completing their program.
