College Scholarships for High School Golfers

Professional golfing organizations are frequently willing to donate money to help aspiring young golfers receive higher educations. Whether you intend to play in college or plan to take a break from the sport, organizations that link golfers together can aid you in becoming an educated and well-rounded adult. Many golfing scholarships aren't based on your skill in the sport, but rather on your participation, moral character and academic record.
  1. NCAA Scholarships

    • The National Collegiate Athletics Association has around one billion dollars budgeted to help aspiring college athletes meet the cost of tuition. If you're interested in getting money from the NCAA, you'll have to parlay your high school golf activities into a spot on the college team. You should contact the golf coach through the athletics department of the college you're interested in attending, to see if you qualify for any NCAA scholarship monies.
