The Bright Futures Scholarships are offered to deserving Florida students by the Florida Department of Education. To qualify, students must have a minimum GPA of at least 3.5, must be high school graduates of a public Florida high school, must have an ACT score of at least 28 or an SAT score of at least 1270 and must be involved in civic and community service projects. The award amount is full tuition and fees.

To qualify, students must be US citizens, must be residents of Florida, must not have any other outstanding educational loans, must attend a private Florida college or university on at least a part-time basis, must not already have a bachelor's degree and must maintain a high GPA. The award amount is generally between $5,000 and $15,000 per academic year.

The Minority Teacher Education Scholarship Program is offered to a deserving Florida student by the Florida Department of Education. To qualify, students must represent a minority culture, must be US citizens, must be Florida residents, must have earned at least 60 credits toward a bachelor's degree, must be pursuing a career as an educator and must have a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. The award amount is generally between $5,000 and $15,000 per academic year.
