The American Association of School Administrators is a professional organization meant to support individuals working as school administrators, superintendents, principals and other leaders in the education field. The organization established an Educational Administration Scholarship Award in 1949. Today, the scholarship grants $2,500 to eligible graduate students who are enrolled in a program in education administration and who are interested in becoming superintendents. Universities and colleges can nominate one graduate student to apply for the scholarship each year.
