Fulbright scholarships offer graduate students the opportunity to study abroad in a foreign country. Although students do not have to be specifically studying international relations, the program is designed to foster communication between the United States and other countries abroad. To be eligible, students must have completed a bachelor's degree, but not yet a doctoral degree. A Fulbright scholarship comes with all-expenses-paid transportation, books and living expenses for one year. If already affiliated with a university, applicants may prefer to contact the Fulbright scholarship representative on their individual campus. Applicants can also submit their applications to the Institute of International Education.
