Florida Online GED Test Preparation

The General Educational Development (GED) Test is administered by the American Council on Education. It cannot be taken online, but the state of Florida maintains testing sites throughout the state.
  1. Local Resources

    • The Florida Department of Education requires students to call for up-to-date information on local GED resources (1-877-352-4331). Eligibility requirements, GED instructional programs, and testing sites are available by phone. Alternatively, students can contact a local adult education drector or GED testing site (see Resources).

    Sample Tests and Other Resources

    • The GED Practitioners Task Force Committee maintains a website (see Resources) with links to sample tests, online games, and other supporting materials specifically designed for students in Florida.

    Adults with Disabilities and ESL

    • Students with disabilities and those studying English as a second language (ESL) may receive some accommodations in their GED testing. Information on Florida resources and policies is also available though the Florida GED Resources website (see Resources).
