How do I Find the Results of My GED Test Online in Florida?

Completing your GED test is a major accomplishment. The easy part should be learning your score. Some students find, however, that discovering the results is just as difficult as the test itself. In the state of Florida, there are several online resources to help you find the results of your test. Unfortunately, the Florida GED office cannot fulfill requests directly via the Internet, but their website will supply you with the necessary tools to get your score.

Instructions

Complete a written request for your score, also known as your transcript. The Florida Department of Education offers a standardized request form, or you may supply the information on your own. Be sure to include your full name, date of birth and social security number. You must also supply the year and the city or county where you took the test. At the bottom, sign your name. The request cannot be completed without your signature.

Include a cashier's check or money order. The GED office will not accept personal checks or cash. If you want more than one transcript, include a separate $6 money order or check for each request. Make all checks payable to the Florida Department of Education.

Include a self-addressed stamped envelope for the GED office to return your transcript. A transcript requires a regular, letter-sized envelope with a 44-cent stamp. If you would like your transcript sent faster, you may use a Federal Express, UPS or any other carrier's envelope with prepaid postage.
