The BISON scholarship fund is available to New York residents living in Buffalo, Lackawanna, West Seneca, Cheektowaga, Snyder/Eggertsville, Kenmore and Town of Tonawanda. BISON is a privately funded program that provides assistance to more than 1,000 students each year. Families who are awarded a BISON scholarship can use the money for kindergarten through eighth grade at a school of their choice. BISON scholars, as the recipients of these grants are called, attend more than 50 private schools.

The Inner-City Scholarship Fund (ICSF) provides scholarships for primary school-aged children living in New York City to attend Catholic school. Through the Cardinal's Scholarship Program, low-income families whose children are currently attending public school are eligible for grants of 75% of the tuition at a private Catholic school. ICSF also offers emergency tuition assistance in the form of one-time grants for families who are suffering from unforeseen circumstances such as the illness or death of a parent.

Low-income families in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens,Staten Island, The Bronx and Rockland, Putnam, Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, or Dutchess counties are eligible for grants of up to $2,700 from the Children's Scholarship Fund. The grants are intended as partial tuition assistance for primary students entering first through sixth grades in participating private Catholic schools. The Children's Scholarship Fund calculates the amount of money that each family will be awarded based on the family's total income and the total cost of the school.
