Hinton, Oklahoma, is a small town with about 2,300 residents, as of 2011. The town is located 53 miles west of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. There are three schools and one preschool located in the town. Established in 1908, Hinton is an agricultural town that was once a popular stop on the historic Route 66. Today, Interstate 40 passes just minutes from Hinton.
  1. Hinton Pre-School

    • According to Greatschools.org, Hinton Elementary School offers a pre-K program to prepare children for kindergarten. Pre-K programs typically admit children between four and five-years-old. Other specialty classes and extracurricular activities include band, chorus and Spanish classes. High school students can enroll in an agricultural/food science vocational program.
