Lay out the cardboard trifold on the table. Begin with the left section. Cover the entire three cardboard sections with white paper. Across the top, label the day of the week with the black marker. For example, if the scope of the forecast begins on Monday, label the section the farthest to the left "MONDAY." Proceed to label the other sections with the following days.
Draw and cut out symbols for different weather conditions. On yellow paper create a sun. On white or grey paper create clouds. These symbols should be approximately 6 inches wide and 4 inches tall. Place the symbol on the day to represent the probable weather condition.
Write the high and low temperature of the day in block numbers. Use numbers about 4 inches tall and 2 inches wide. Make the style simple and easy to read. Write the word HIGH and LOW next to the number. Use simple, clear handwriting to indicate the day's predicted temperatures.
Write the name of the city or area effected by these weather conditions across the bottom of the trifold. Also write the dates on which the predictions apply.
