How to Make Smart Board Flash Cards

If you have access to a Smart Board, then you have a handy tool to bring elements of the digital world into your classroom. The digital projectors have the capability of displaying a wealth of information, including slideshows, outlines and flash cards. If you want to create your own digital flash cards for use on a Smart Board, you can use an online flash card creator to get the job done.

Instructions

      Navigate to the FlashcardDB site and click "Sign up in seconds!" to register your name and email address and create a new profile. If you already have a profile, click "Log In" to sign in to your account.

      Click "New Flashcard Set" from near the top of the page.

      Give the Card Set a name, write a description for the cards and indicate the subject that the cards relate to on the next page, and then click "Create this card set."

      Type the information that should go on one side of the card in the left hand box that appears on the next page. Then type the information that should go on the other side of the card into the right hand box. Click "Add this Card" when you've finished the card.

      Repeat step 4 for all cards you want to create. Click "I am done adding cards" once you've added all the cards you want in the set. These cards will automatically be added to your "My Flashcards" section of the FlashcardsDB site.

      Navigate to the Internet using your Smart Board technology, and then log in to your FlashcardsDB site. Click "My Flashcards" near the top of the page to access your flashcards and project them onto your Smart Board.
