How to Connect a Smart Board to a Computer

Smart Boards -- a brand of interactive whiteboard -- have modernized the way instruction takes place in today's classrooms. Traditional chalkboards and whiteboards are merely tools for presentation. The interactive nature of Smart Boards, however, allows for more student participation and a wider selection of media, such as PowerPoint presentations, websites and streaming video. Connecting your laptop or classroom PC is very similar to setting up your computer system at home. You can connect a Smart Board to a computer in a manner of minutes.
