List of T1 Law Schools

If you are planning on attending law school in the near future, it is important to understand the distinction between the Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 schools. The Tier 1 schools are considered to be the top schools in the country and are widely considered to include the top 50 schools in the country. While there is not officially a second tier, schools 50 to 100 are considered second tier. Third and fourth tier schools make up schools out of the top 100. The following rankings are based on the 2010 law school rankings compiled by Top-Law-Schools.com, which aggregates several widely recognized law school rankings, including those of "U.S. News and World Report."
